Freedom is not free…it’s paid for in the sacrifice of the extraordinary men and women defending our nation. Service members do not bear this responsibility alone. Their families face unique challenges during frequent deployments, multiple moves and schools. All families face hard challenges, but military family challenges redefine hard.
Anchor Scholarship Foundation recognizes the impressive accomplishments of these families. Since 1980, more than $1,600,000.00 in scholarships have been awarded to more than 1,300 eligible family members.
These scholarships go beyond just mitigating the cost for a college education or certificate program, they validate the hard work, dedication, and sacrifice of some amazing people.
Anchor scholarships are awarded based upon an equal weighting of academic performance, character, extracurricular activities and financial need. There are several different types of scholarships; all of which can be applied for online with ONE scholarship application.
