WASHINGTON (WMAL) – They thought they were private moments, but it turns out at least 80 men were unknowingly filmed naked or partially clothed at a spa in Fairfax County.
A man called Centreville Spa World last May after seeing a nude video of himself there on a social media website. The spa called Fairfax County Police. Maj. Ed O’Carroll said their investigation led them to Kwame Anderson, 28. They got a search warrant for his Newport News home and found more than 150 cell phone videos taken at Spa World dating back to 2014. They believe there were more than 80 victims – all men – in Fairfax County, including three minors.
Another 84 victims were in videos taken at other locations outside the county. O’Carroll said they are working with their counterparts in other jurisdictions to figure out the identities of those victims and where the videos were taken.
Police said Anderson made a lot of money selling the videos online.
He was arrested at his house Wednesday on three felony charges of unlawful filming of a minor, and two misdemeanor charges of unlawful filming of an adult and unlawful dissemination of the videos. He’s being held without bond at the Newport News City Jail.
