Democrats Want To Kill The Electoral College Because They Fear The Constitution (The Federalist)
The United States isn’t a “democracy.” Though every American should have learned this fact in high school civics class, the smart-set still like to ridicule people who point it out–such a cliché, and all.
Today, we see why the Left worked to convince Americans that majoritarianism was a profound moral good. And it’s not just that America is going through another silly debate about the suddenly inconvenient Electoral College; it’s that Democrats are increasingly comfortable attacking foundational ideas of American governance. Soon after Jim Hildenbrand arrived in Avignon Villa Homes, a community for older adults in a Kansas City suburb, the homeowner association disputed the placement of his satellite dish. It cited him for parking cars in his driveway overnight and placing a St. Francis statue in a flower bed. He was later written up for a dead cat in a window well—which Mr. Hildenbrand suspects was planted by a neighborhood enemy.
Things went downhill from there. [Read More]
It is despicable & baseless accusations like this that breed division & poor race-relations. Our Commonwealth will never move forward on the issue of race as long as it is used as a partisan weapon. The DPV should denounce this hateful action immediately. https://t.co/zHpF2J6PCZ
