ABERDEEN, Md. (AP) — Authorities have released the identity of a woman who they say killed herself after fatally shooting three people and wounding several others at a Maryland warehouse.
Harford County Sheriff Jeffrey R. Gahler said Thursday she was 26-year-old Snochia Moseley of Baltimore County, a temporary employee at the Rite Aid distribution center where the shootings took place.
Officials say the suspect opened fire around 9 a.m. with a 9 mm Glock that was registered in her name. Gahler said authorities don’t know her motive.
Gahler said seven people were wounded altogether. Four of the seven died, including the suspect.
A Baltimore hospital received four patients with gunshot wounds after the shooting.
Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center said in a statement Thursday afternoon that it was waiting to confirm that family members have been notified before sharing any additional information.
Rite Aid released the following statement:
We are deeply saddened by the events that transpired this morning at the Liberty support facility, which is part of our Perryman Distribution Center in Aberdeen, Md. Our hearts are with the victims and their families. https://t.co/tOxAtnG272
