WASHINGTON —  (WMAL) A woman has died after being stabbed several times near the corner of 11th and P Streets in Northwest DC Tuesday evening, and police are looking for one suspect in the case.

Police say the victim was apparently out jogging shortly before 8 pm when she was attacked near a Chinese takeout restaurant. The woman managed to make it into the restaurant before she collapsed. She was taken to a hospital, where she later died.

The victim has been identified as Wendy Karina Martinez, 35, of Northwest DC.
