WASHINGTON (WMAL) – Incumbent Congresswoman Barbara Comstock (R-VA 10) is taking her closely watched district race to the television-arena Friday after releasing her first TV ad.
The six-figure ad boasts Comstock’s efforts in championing tax cuts and creating jobs, juxtaposing her with challenger, Sen. Jennifer Wexton (D- Loudoun), who “pledged to raise taxes for families by 2,400 dollars,” the ad claimed.
In a tweet, Comstock posted the campaign ad along with calling Wexton the “#1 liberal” in the state.
We released our first TV and cable ad. We’ve cut taxes for families and businesses and our economy is booming and bringing good paying jobs to Virginia’s 10th District and the country. But my opponent, ranked the #1 liberal in the state senate, wants to halt our prosperity. #VA10 pic.twitter.com/lsSAx5Bf1o
