Resistance Is Futile!: How the Trump-Hating Left Lost Its Collective Mind (Amazon)

Since the day Donald Trump announced his presidential campaign, the left has waged a demented war against him.

Liberals used to pride themselves on their ultra-hipness, but Trump has turned them into weeping little girls in pink party dresses. The very people who once mocked right-wingers for (allegedly) overreacting to every little thing are now the ones hyperventilating and hatching insane conspiracy theories.

During the campaign, and even more so after his victory, the left went nuts. Everything Trump does sends them into a moral panic. Everything is a constitutional crisis.

Members of the self-proclaimed “Resistance” — journalists, politicians, professors, judges, comedians, movie stars, Twitter pundits, even Oprah and Lindsey Vonn! — are literally shaking because Trump is literally Hitler! [Read More]

Michael Cohen, President Trump’s former longtime personal attorney, tentatively reaches a plea deal: Sources (ABC News)

Michael Cohen, the former longtime fixer and personal attorney for Donald Trump, agreed Tuesday to a tentative deal with federal prosecutors in New York that requires him to plead guilty to several felony charges of bank fraud, tax evasion and violations of campaign finance law, according to sources with knowledge of the deal.

The tax charges stem from Cohen’s personal business dealings and investments in real estate and the taxi industry. [Read More]

Paul Manafort found guilty in federal trial (CNBC)

President Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman Paul Manafort on Tuesday was found guilty of five counts of tax fraud.

In a note to U.S. District Court Judge T.S. Ellis, the jurors said they had not reached a consensus on the 10 remaining counts in the bank fraud and tax crimes trial.

Manafort, 69, faces another federal trial next month in Washington, D.C., which also stems from special counsel Robert Mueller‘s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 campaign. [Read More]

CNN’S APRIL RYAN DEMANDS THE WHITE HOUSE PAY FOR HER BODYGUARD (The Daily Caller)

CNN political analyst April Ryan is reportedly demanding that the White House pay for a bodyguard she recently hired to protect her against threats.

Ryan, who is a White House correspondent, told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published on Tuesday that she has had many threats made against her. She also claimed people follow her around whenever she is in public and wait for her when she’s leaving the White House.

“I’ve had some people wait for me outside the White House…. There is a concern now. I mean, I’ve had death threats, I’ve had craziness, so I have a real concern. An honest, real concern…. Do I have a bodyguard? Yes, I do.” Ryan said. “All I’m going to say for my safety is: I have a team.” [Read More]

CNN’s April Ryan claims Omarosa floated anti-Trump news to take spotlight away from Aretha Franklin (Fox News)

CNN political analyst April Ryan has floated a bizarre theory that Omarosa Manigault Newman pushed the rumor that President Trump used the N-word to take attention away from Aretha Franklin’s failing health.

Franklin — the “Queen of Soul” — died last Thursday of advanced pancreatic cancer after days of reports that her health was rapidly declining. During roughly the same time period, former White House aide Omarosa pushed a story that President Trump has used the N-word in the past.

“She did it because Aretha Franklin didn’t want her at her birthday party,” Ryan told The Hollywood Reporter. [Read More]

Earlier Tuesday, investigators announced a body believed to be Tibbetts was found in rural Poweshiek County.

Tibbetts, a 20-year-old student at the University of Iowa, has been missing since July 18. [Read More]
