OH, DEER! Bambi Tries To Ride The Metro

CRYSTAL CITY — (WMAL) Seems like everyone was trying to get downtown for the Capitals parade Tuesday – including Bambi!

Metro’s surveillance video captured a white-tailed deer romping through the Crystal City station at 8:30 this morning, jumping across the track and onto the platform. No word on how the deer found the station, but Metro reports it soon made its way through the tunnel and back into open space, heading towards Reagan National airport.

Perhaps he had a plane to catch?
