Trump slams Sessions for Russia recusal: ‘I wish I did’ appoint a different AG (Fox News)
President Trump said Wednesday he wishes he had appointed someone else as attorney general, ramping up his criticism yet again of Jeff Sessions for his recusal from the Russia investigation.
In a series of tweets Wednesday morning, the president slammed Sessions after quoting comments made by House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy on “CBS This Morning.”
Gowdy, R-S.C., was asked about a New York Times report that Trump had asked Sessions to retain control of the Russia investigation following his recusal — and that this was being examined by Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team. [Read More]

The 3.2 GPA student is planning to attend Coppin State University in the fall, but his college plans have become a secondary concern now that his high school diploma is just out of reach. [Read More]

We hear this talking point quite often from Democrats.
Now, perhaps the president didn’t experience the fallout from a scandal, which is very different from never having been involved in one. For this confusion, Obama can thank the political media. [Read More]

Standing on the front steps of First Congregational Church of Oakland late last month, Nichola Torbett issued a declaration.
“We can no longer tolerate the trauma inflicted on our communities by policing,” Torbett, a white church volunteer, said in front of churchgoers who held photos of African Americans shot dead by law enforcement. The church, she promised, would never call the cops again in nearly every circumstance. Dozens of members had agreed to do the same. [Read More]
