WASHINGTON (WMAL) — Washington D.C. Police Department are responding to a two vehicle accident where four pedestrians have reportedly been struck by one of the vehicles.
Commander Morgan C. Kane of Metropolitan Police Department stated that they received a call for service in reference to a traffic accident that occurred on 9th St. She said that two vehicles were traveling southbound when one of the drivers made a wide turn, crashing into the other vehicle and causing that vehicle to jump the curb.
The four adult pedestrians struck by the vehicle were transported to local hospitals where they are receiving treatment for serious, but non-life threatening injuries, according to Kane.
