LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL — President Trump has a meeting scheduled in the Oval Office with Defense Secretary James Mattis Tuesday, but his animatronic alter ego will be making his debut in Florida.

After being closed for nearly a year, the Hall of Presidents at Walt Disney World reopens Tuesday with a newly revamped show starring the 45th President of the United States. Mr. Trump will take his place among his peers, and following the tradition of every president since Bill Clinton, the Commander in Chief has a speaking role as well.

In the show, President Trump is standing next to a seated Abraham Lincoln, wearing a dark suit, with – as is his custom – his jacket unbuttoned and his tie worn extra long. He recorded the oarth of office along with a brief speech for the show earlier this year.

“Above all, to be American is to be an optimist — to believe that we can always do better — and that the best days of our great nation are still ahead of us,” says the animatronic Trump in the 25-minute show.

In addition to the new animatronic figure, Disney upgraded the Hall of Presidents theater with a new sound system, lighting and high-definition projection system.
