WASHINGTON (WMAL) – A man on the Frederick County Police Department’s most wanted list was found dead Monday in a wooded area in Frederick County, and Maryland State Police are calling the death suspicious.
Two hunters found the body of 19-year-old Gennady Errigo where the woods meet a farm on Liberty Road in Frederick.
Errigo was wanted by Frederick Police for first-degree burglary, vehicle theft and theft. He was put on the department’s most wanted list in May.
State police spokesperson Elena Russo said the death was ruled suspicious because of where the body was found.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore will autopsy the body to find out what killed Errigo.
