Police Still Looking for Trespasser After Lockdown at High School Lifted

Prince George’s County Police are still searching for the person seen trespassing at Potomac High School in Oxon Hill this morning.

A teacher saw the trespasser speaking with a current student and referred the student to a Student Resource Officer for questioning.

“During the questioning, the Student Resource Officer found a handgun on the student and he was arrested,” said Corporal Lamar Robinson, the Public Information Officer at the Prince George’s County Police Department.

The lockdown was put in place at the school after the gun was found.

According to police, charges are pending against the student who was found with the gun.

The lockdown on the school has been lifted.

The Prince George’s County Police Department, said that the investigation is on-going and if anyone had any information to call their tip line at 1-866-411-TIPS.
