Listen as Larry spoke with Virginia’s Republican candidate for governor Ed Gillespie regarding his campaign.
Specifically, Gillespie discussed the issue of sanctuary cities:
O’Connor: As governor, if a municipality in the Commonwealth of Virginia attempts do declare themselves a sanctuary and resist any involvement with ICE, what will you do?
Gillespie: I’m for a bill that was passed by the assembly. Ralph Northam voted against it, that banned sanctuary cities in the Commonwealth of Virginia, then Terry McAuliffe vetoed it. I’d sign it in a heartbeat. And that is again one of those areas where there is a very clear difference between me and Ralph Northam.
