Two New York men broke a bodega worker’s jaw in the late afternoon of May 29, police say, following miscommunication that may have been the result of a language barrier. The aggrieved individuals, who police are still looking for, began hurling avocados at the clerk after their food order was supposedly botched. The 21-year-old, Amir Alzabibi, suffered a broken jaw and cuts to his face, resulting in his hospitalization.
