Former Intel Chair PETE HOEKSTRA: Nunes Did Nothing Wrong

Listen as Larry spoke with Former House Intel Chairman Pete Hoekstra about Chairman Nunes announcing that individuals within the Trump campaign were surveilled during the Obama administration.

During the interview, Hoekstra approved of Nunes actions:

O’Connor: Let’s understand specifically Mr. Hoekstra the politics involved here – appearance and perception is very important in this town. Has he, sadly, created a perception that he is operating on behalf of the Trump administration instead of trying to find the truth?

Hoekstra: We won’t know that until the information that he was shown becomes public and I have every reason to believe that some time in the future, maybe four weeks maybe eight weeks, that that information will become public. The circumstances how he was shown this information and when he gained access or when the committee gained access to the information, then we’ll be able to make a determination. But from what I’m looking at right now, no he hasn’t demonstrated an inability to conduct an impartial or a bi-partisan investigation in any way at all. Sure, there may be some questions about it. But the Chairman is doing just fine.
