Listen as Larry spoke with political commentator Michelle Malkin about House Republicans pulling the health care bill and Malkin’s latest piece on Assata Shakur.
During the interview, O’Connor asked Malkin for her initial reaction after learning the health care bill was pulled:
O’Connor: I’d love for your instant analysis of this development today.
Malkin: Well, to me this is about another entity that I detest in Washington, D.C. and have for a long time and that is Paul Ryan. And unfortunately I don’t know what goes on back there in the machinations between Steve Bannon and the people I trust within the White House and how it came about that President Trump put his trust in this biggest crap weasel in the Beltway. And it’s no surprise that they botched this the way they did. I mean, in large parts, this is why the Tea Party was born in the first place and people forget that now, especially all of the superficial liberals who misunderstood the Tea Party movement as solely a response to Obama. It was as much, if not more, a response to big government Republicans and establishment Republicans like Paul Ryan who’ve cashed in on paying [inaudible] service to grassroots and Constitutional limited government conservatism and then sell them out every single opportunity. … He doesn’t want to face the consequences of repealing a massive entitlement that he and so many big government Republicans enabled.
