5am – A/B/C Have You Been Contacted By Candidates Or Pollsters?

5am – D         Critter News:

  • Blood-thirsty squirrel attacks nursing home in Florida. DELTONA, Fla. – Three people were injured Thursday when a squirrel attacked people at a senior living center in Deltona, Florida. “It’s jumping on people and biting them and scratching them, so we need help,” a 911 caller said regarding the incident at the Sterling Court Gracious Retirement Living Two residents and a staff member suffered serious squirrel bites. A woman sitting outside was bitten on her leg and immediately ran inside the center for help. As people attempted to provide first aid to the woman, the squirrel continued its attack indoors. “It’s in our activity room, and it’s jumping on people and biting them and scratching them,” the 911 caller said. “It’s still in there, and people are bleeding.”
  • Earlier darkness, deer-mating season spell trouble for drivers. WASHINGTON — Now that the D.C. region has turned its clocks back one hour and it’s getting dark out earlier, it’s especially important for drivers to keep an eye out for lovey-dovey deer. The end of daylight saving time coincides with the middle of deer-mating season. “Dawn or dusk is when they’re out there the most, and that’s usually when we’re going to work,” said Jim Battagliese, WTOP’s director of Traffic and Weather Operations. His advice for drivers? “Slow down, be on the lookout. At night if you can use your high beams, use your high beams and just be on alert for those deer. They will jump out in front of you.” If a deer does cross your path, hit the brakes but don’t swerve to avoid the animal.
  • Snake on a plane! Priority landing after reptile dangled from bin. Live reptile slithers into cabin during flight in Mexico. Someone call Samuel L. Jackson. A snake created a scare for passengers on a flight in Mexico on Sunday, leading to the inevitable association with the “Snakes on a Plane” movie that gained fame with Jackson as a starring actor. Passengers on Aeromexico Flight 231 got the real-life “Snake on a Plane” treatment Sunday. The unwelcome surprise came on a flight to Mexico City from Torreon in Mexico’s north. Aeromexico typically flies that flight on an Embraer E190 aircraft, according to its website. A passenger captured video of the reptile squirming from one of the aircraft’s overhead storage bins, with the snake appearing to be fall down into the cabin toward the end of the short video. A second video from the plane (via YouTube) showed passengers moving away from the snake as it dangled from the bin area.
  • Police look for woman, find baby Koala. SYDNEY (AP) — Australian police have made an unusual find while searching the bag of a woman who was being arrested: a baby koala. Police in Brisbane said that when they asked the 50-year-old woman if she had anything to declare Sunday night, she handed over a zipped canvas bag that she said contained a baby koala. The woman, who was arrested on “outstanding matters,” said she found the male koala on Saturday night and had been caring for it since. The woman was taken to a police station, while the koala — believed to be about 6 months old — was taken to a wildlife hospital in good health, though slightly dehydrated. The baby koala weighs about 1.5 kilograms (3 pounds) and has been named Alfred. “He’s been on fluids but is doing well and will shortly be going out to a carer,” RSPCA spokesman Michael Beatty said.

5am – E         AP readies for Clinton: Don’t call Bill ‘first gentleman.’ Bill Clinton could be on the verge of winning the role of running the East Wing, but please don’t call him first gentleman, says the Associated Press Stylebook. Updating their political terms, the AP said that in most references, the highest title attained should be used for politicians. Thus, he is still “former President Bill Clinton” even if he is picking out china for President Hillary Clinton’s state dinner.

6am – A/B/C Closing Arguments for Your Candidate

6am – D         WJLA Reporter Legally Registered to Vote in Three States. WASHINGTON (ABC7) — As the saying goes, one person one vote. But not necessarily for 7 On Your Side Investigative Reporter, Chris Papst. He learned he’s legally registered to vote in three states. So, as the candidates fight for votes in the final hours of Campaign 2016, Papst put the voting system to the test by trying to vote three times. As America becomes more mobile, election officials say our largely paper-based voter rolls can’t keep up. Over the last four years, Papst has lived in three states – PA, VA and now MD. He registered to vote in all three and followed election law as he went. Seven on You Side wanted to see if the voter rolls had kept up with him. His first stop, Maryland – where he registered in October. After waiting in a 45-minute line, he voted for the first time. He then drove 30 minutes to Arlington where he learned he was eligible to vote in person on election day or absentee. The same was also true at his old polling place in Pennsylvania, where he hasn’t voted since 2013 (Virginia and PA do not have early voting). Despite a 7 On Your Side report last year, where Papst tested Pennsylvania’s voter system and told Election Services he moved, his registration is still active and he could vote a third time.

6am – E         Hillary: ‘Befuddled’ by FBI Process. Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show Monday that she was a bit “befuddled” by FBI Director James Comey’s recent actions. Comey informed Congress in late October that his bureau was looking at 650,000 emails found on a computer used by Anthony Weiner and his estranged wife, Huma Abedin, a top Clinton aid. But on Sunday he said nothing was found in the emails to change his mind from July when he announced that Clinton did send classified emails on her private server when she was secretary of state, though the intent needed to press charges was not evident. “I was obviously a little bit befuddled by the whole process, but it’s behind us now and I think everybody should focus on what is best for our country and how we’re going to meet the challenges we have, and that’s what I have been talking about throughout this entire campaign,” Clinton told Seacrest on Monday.

7am – A/B/C Poll Lines: Have You Voted? How Are The Lines? What Was Your Experience?

  • Election Day arrives: DC, Md., Va. voters head to polls. WASHINGTON — After a long and bitter campaign for president, voters in the D.C. region will finally have their chance Tuesday to help settle whether Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump will lead the nation. Turnout is expected to be heavy at polling locations throughout the region Tuesday and voters could run into long lines. But the weather shouldn’t deter voters from heading out to cast those ballots. It is expected to be warm and sunny. Polls in Virginia open at 6 a.m. In D.C. Maryland the polls open at 7 a.m. Voters in D.C., Maryland and Virginia have much more to decide than who will move into 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. NW.

7am – D         INTERVIEW — True the Vote Founder CATHERINE ENGELBRECHT

8am – D         INTERVIEW —  LARRY KUDLOW – CNBC Senior Contributor and host of The Larry Kudlow Show on WMAL Saturdays at 7 pm and author of “JFK and the Reagan Revolution: A Secret History of American Prosperity”  — made final case for Trump on the economy and gave his predictions.

8am – E         ‘SHE LOOKS LIKE A FUTURISTIC NAZI’ Outrage as Lady Gaga’s bizarre costume at Clinton rally is likened to a Nazi uniform. The pop star spoke out to give the Democrat a boost, but her outfit raised some eyebrows. POP icon Lady Gaga has been slammed for her bizarre outfit while speaking at a Hillary Clinton rally, as social media users likened it to a Nazi uniform. The singer addressed supporters of the Democratic presidential candidate in North Carolina ahead of today’s election, urging them to get out and vote while also calling for reconciliation between Clinton’s and Donald Trump’s supporters. Lady Gaga addresses supporters gathered in support of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in Raleigh, North Carolina. Speaking of her admiration for Clinton, the 30-year-old told the crowd: “No matter how absurd and mean [Trump] became, she smiled bravely and she continued on.” She added that Hillary Clinton is “made of steel” and said: “If we are true, true Americans, then we must go from viewing his followers as our adversaries to viewing them as our allies.” While her outfit was likened to that of a Nazi uniform, it was actually a tribute to Michael Jackson.
