LISTEN: Prince George’s County Teacher Facing Charges After Sexually Soliciting a Minor

LANHAM, Md. — (WMAL) A teacher at DuVal High School in Prince George’s County is on administrative leave after being charged with second degree assault, sexual solicitation of a minor, and fourth degree sexual offence.

66-year-old Doney Olivieri of Washington, D.C. was arrested after the relative of a 16-year-old student called police reporting that Olivieri had sent inappropriate text messages to the student between June and September. Olivieri has also been accused of touching the student on the chest in a classroom in September.

Police are still investigating, but ask that any additional information be reported to the Price George’s County Police Department of Children and Vulnerable Adult Unit at 301-772-4930.
