- Chaffetz has scheduled yet another Clinton email hearing for Thursday, is not ruling out more. (Washington Post) — With just a few working weeks of Congress left, House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) has pledged to hold fresh hearings on Hillary Clinton’s use of a private server before leaving the State Department. In an interview with radio host and cable news commentator Hugh Hewitt, Chaffetz said that at least two hearings were coming, with the first, on the Freedom of Information Act, scheduled for this coming Thursday. “How is it the State Department essentially lied to the media, the world, and the public?” Chaffetz said Tuesday morning. “It’s our information. These aren’t Hillary Clinton’s emails. These are federal records”
