Jesse Matthew to enter plea agreement in murder cases

**Embargo: Richmond, VA** Police in Charlottesville, Virginia are looking for missing college student Hannah Elizabeth Graham. The University of Virginia student was last heard from on early Saturday morning, September 13, 2014 when she sent a text to friends at about 1:20 a.m.

WASHINGTON — (WMAL) Albemarle Commonwealth’s Attorney Robert Tracci announced that he expects Jesse Matthew, Jr., who is charged with the abduction and murder of Hannah Graham and Morgan Harrington, to enter a plea agreement on Wednesday.

Here is his entire statement:

“Dear Concerned Media Respresentatives,

On March 2, 2016 at 1:30 p.m., therw ill be a hearing in the Albemarle County Circuit Court during which it is anticipated that Jesse Leroy Matthew, Jr., will be entering a plea agreement to resolve both the Hannah Graham and Morgan Harrington abduction and murder cases. In the interest of protecting the integrity of the judicial process, our office is unable to provide an additional details as to the specific details of the plea agreement, or any other information related to the case, at this time. We are providing this release in order to ensure that media outlets with an interest in covering this matter have appropriate notice of the nature of Wednesday’s public hearing.”
