North Korea’s Internet Crashes for the Second Time

(NEW YORK) — The Internet in North Korea has crashed for the second time in as many days, according to an Internet performance research company.

Monday’s outage lasted for nine hours and 31 minutes, and Tuesday’s shutdown began around 3:40 p.m. local time, according to Dyn Research.

Dyn Research, an Internet management performance company that measures global Internet traffic, reported that the country’s Internet was restored about a half hour later, at 4:12 p.m. local time.
