WASHINGTON — (WMAL) The newly-renovated Fair Oaks Mall will be giving visitors the V.I.P. treatment this holiday season.

Prior to the start of the holiday season, Fair Oaks held focus groups to see what customers did and did not enjoy about shopping on Black Friday.

It turns out the thing focus group participants hated the most about Black Friday was not the crowds, but actually, the parking.

The mall will have golf cart shuttles taking customers to and from their cars. The service will be provided on Black Friday and various days throughout December.

Fair Oaks will also have staff at each entrance handing out coupons and directories.

Free water bottles will also be available at the customer service desk.
