WASHINGTON — (WMAL) The 2015 National Christmas Tree Lighting ticket lottery begins at 10 a.m. today.
Lottery registration is free and open to the public until Monday, October 19th.
National Park Service Spokesperson Jenny Anzelmo Sarles said that 20,000 people attend the ceremony every year.
The tree lighting is set for 5 p.m. on December 3rd and will take place on the Elipse at President’s Park.
People who are interested in attending the tree lighting can apply starting today at thenationaltree.org.
