WASHINGTON — (WMAL) The Leesburg Town Council will hold a forum on local businesses Thursday night and one major point of discussion will be a shop that’s a little more ‘risque’ than local residents would like.

Le Tache Couples Boutique is a sex shop on King Street that sells lingerie, sex toys…you get the idea.

Lots of town events are held on King Street, and families with children can pass by the store and see the display. The town council has received complaints that the material displayed on the boutique’s window is inappropriate.

Even so, the Town Council has no authority over the store and there really are no legal actions it can take against Le Tache, according to Town Attorney Barbara Notor.

Council Member Katie Sheldon Hammler suggested the council send a package of complaint emails it had received from local residents to the owners of Le Tache, “basically requesting good corporate citizenship” from the store.
