WASHINGTON — (WMAL) While the real Republican candidates sparred it out on CNN, “Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon gave Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton the ‘Trump Treatment’ on set.

In a politically-themed “Tonight Show” sketch, ‘fake’ Donald Trump (played by Jimmy Fallon) interviewed Clinton to prep her for her real interview with Fallon.

“He [Jimmy Fallon] is a total lightweight,” said fake Trump. “So I’m going to do him a favor, and interview you instead.”

But don’t feel too bad for Jimmy: Hillary still gave Fallon the original interview she had promised. Sadly, there was a lot less ‘Trump’ involved.
