ASHBURN, VA, November 11, 2024 – Tonight, Tumay Harding is announcing her candidacy for the Republican Nomination for the newly vacant seat in Virginia’s 32nd Senate District.
She is proudly endorsed by Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman, Former Virginia Senator Dick Black, and Former Delegate Bob Marshall.
Tumay Harding issued the following statement announcing her candidacy:
“The current majority has failed our District and our Commonwealth. Our schools are faltering and riddled with politics and division, our neighbors have been made victims of illegal migrant crime, and our families are struggling to afford groceries, gas, and housing. All of this could change if we win this election and give Governor Youngkin a new majority in the Senate.
The future of our Commonwealth rides on this election, and together, we will win it. We will flip the Senate and usher in a pro-family, pro-business majority that will ensure Virginia remains the best state for business and becomes a better place to live and raise a family. I will fight to end the car and grocery taxes, eliminate taxes on tips and overtime, slash red tape, fix our broken energy policy, and keep our communities safe from crime and opioids.
I am honored to have received such a broad showing of support right out of the gate from Republicans, Independents, and even Democrats who have been alienated by the radical policies of the far-left. As your Senator, I will fight for you every single day in Richmond, and I am asking for your support this Saturday, November 16th to receive the Republican Nomination.”
