Since it was announced the Elon Musk’s bid to purchase Twitter was accepted, liberal-backed NGO’s have begun plotting to call on advertisers to boycott the platform. As expected, Elon is not taking these calls lightly, and took to the platform last night to question the motives of the financiers these organizations.
“Who funds these organizations that want to control your access to information? Let’s investigate …,” tweeted Musk on Tuesday. He later added, “Sunlight is the best disinfectant.”
A letter, signed by 26 organizations – including groups backed by Hillary Clinton and George Soros operatives, as well as the European Union and Canadian Government – are urging Twitter’s advertisers to abandon the platform. “Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter will further toxify our information ecosystem and be a direct threat to public safety, especially among those already most vulnerable and marginalized,” claimed the letter. The letter continued, “Your ad dollars can either fund Musk’s vanity project or hold him to account. We call on you to demand Musk uphold these basic standards of community trust and safety, and to pull your advertising spending from Twitter if they are not.”
The left continues to be up-in-arms over the sale of the beloved platform and terrified of the potential implications of an inability to silence conservative voices on one of the world’s most popular social media sites. The letter called out by Musk exemplifies their desperate attempts to thwart the purchase and damage the platform’s viability.
