WASHINGTON – The Washington Football Team announced on Monday that it is making changes to street names associated with the team as part of its rebrand.
Moving forward, the team’s headquarters address will be updated to Coach Gibbs Drive and a road leading to an entrance of FedExField will now be known as Sean Taylor Road.
In honor of two of our greatest legends, we’re happy to announce that we are changing our Headquarters address to Coach Gibbs Drive, while a main road leading to @FedExField will now be called, Sean Taylor Road.

These updated street names pay respect to Hall of Fame Head Coach Joe Gibbs and safety Sean Taylor, who are both members of Washington’s Ring of Fame.
According to the team, the changes are part of its rebrand. Each street will be officially renamed ahead of the team’s 2020 season opener.
The team said the full mailing address of its franchise headquarters In Ashburn, Virginia, will be 21300 Coach Gibbs Drive.
“The renaming of these streets along with all of the changes being made to our stadium are just part of our long-term goal of improving every element of the Washington Football Team, both off and on the field,” team owner Dan Snyder said in a statement.
