VA State Police Issues Senior Alert For Missing 80-Year-Old Man

WASHINGTON – Virginia State Police activated a statewide Senior Alert Friday evening.

According to state police, Jerome Thomas Countee, 80, was last seen at 9 a.m. on Friday. He is from Prince George’s County.

Countee was seen driving a black 2013 Honda Pilot SUV with Maryland license plate: 3BC1394. Police said he is likely driving to Manassas, Virginia.

According to the release from state police, Countee sufferers from a cognitive impairment.

He is described as an elderly man wearing a white t-shirt and white dress pants with brown eyes, a mustache and white/balding hair.

He is 5’11 and weighs 185 pounds. Anyone who spots Countee should call 911 or the Prince Georges County Police Department at 301-352-1200.

At the request of the Prince Georges County, Maryland Police Department, the Virginia State Police has activated a statewide Senior Alert for Mr. Jerome Thomas Countee, Sr., 80. Mr. Countee was last seen at 9 a.m. Friday (Aug. 28, 2020) and is believed to be driving a black 2013 Honda Pilot SUV with Maryland license plate: 3BC1394; with a “Kappa for Life” license plate frame. He is suspected to be driving to Manassas, Virginia. 

Mr. Countee has brown eyes, a mustache and white/balding hair. He is 5’11 in height and weighs 185 lbs. He may be wearing a white t-shirt with white dress pants.

Mr. Countee suffers from a cognitive impairment and his disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and safety, as determined by the investigating agency.
