(Washington, DC) TUESDAY, MARCH 25, 2025 — As conversations around faith, free speech, and international relations take center stage in the nation’s capital, Troy A. Miller, president & CEO of National Religious Broadcasters (NRB), is available for in-studio and remote interviews from Tuesday, March 25, through Tuesday, April 1, in Washington, D.C.
NRB is committed to protecting free speech, advocating for faith-based media, and ensuring Christian perspectives remain part of national and global discussions. As Congress returns from its recess, Miller is urging the Senate to move forward with Huckabee’s confirmation as the next US Ambassador to Israel.
“Christian media plays a vital role in shaping cultural and political conversations, ensuring faith-driven perspectives are not sidelined,” said Miller. “This extends beyond domestic media issues—our responsibility includes advocating for global religious freedom and strong U.S.-Israel relations, making this week’s congressional return a critical window for progress.”
Speaking topics:
- A new era in Christian communications: Recent research from the Barna Group shows Gen Z is more engaged with Jesus than previous generations, yet only 4% of Americans have a biblical worldview. Faith-based media can and must bridge this gap.
- Christian media’s cultural influence: Faith-based content remains a stabilizing force in American culture, as seen in a new study by Barna in partnership with NRB. Preliminary research was unveiled at the NRB 2025 Opening Session, with the full study set to publish in the coming weeks.
- FCC & free speech: Faith-based broadcasters and communicators face increased censorship to their content distribution. NRB is working to ensure Christian voices remain protected.
- AM radio & information access: As automakers move to eliminate AM radio from new vehicles, NRB is leading efforts and interfacing with members of Congress over the necessity to pass the “AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act.”
- Governor Huckabee’s nomination as US Ambassador to Israel: NRB supports Huckabee’s confirmation, recognizing his longstanding commitment to Israel and his ability to advance U.S. interests in the region.
