PRESS RELEASE: National Religious Broadcasters Convention

Protecting Foundations of the Family’ in a Changing World: Hear from Leading Christian Voices at NRB Forum.”

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2025 — Troy A. Miller, President & CEO of the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB), a nonpartisan, international association of Christian communicators whose member organizations represent millions of listeners, viewers, and readers, will host its annual NRB International Christian Media Convention, the largest nationally and internationally recognized event serving Christian media professionals on February 24-27, 2025, at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas.

The 2024 NRB Convention welcomed nearly 5,000 Christian media professionals, including 268 international attendees from 45 countries outside the United States. The annual NRB International Christian Media Convention is the largest nationally and internationally recognized event serving Christian media professionals.

At the NRB Convention, educational sessions offer valuable training to advance excellence in the field at every level. Christian media and ministry professionals will attend informative Talks and Workshops addressing a comprehensive slate of industry topics, from data analytics, to pitching, to copyright law and music licensing. Special access to screenings and live broadcasts is another NRB Convention signature offering.

Miller stated, “This meeting will be a landmark gathering for NRB as we strengthen our historic bonds, cast a vision for the future, and prepare to meet the challenges and opportunities of our day.”

Power-packed panels, including ‘Protecting Foundations of the Family in a Changing World,’ will assemble top analysts, commentators, and practitioners for exclusive discussions on thought-provoking issues of the day.
Raising a strong family is hard work, especially in a culture hostile to the Christian faith. The “Protecting Foundations of the Family” forum at NRB 2025 will examine top challenges to building strong families and will include actionable strategies to strengthen homes and communities.

“Mass media is striking directly at the heart of the family unit,” said Chris Stigall, the panel moderator. Stigall noted a growing societal acceptance of adult children severing ties with their families. “Using politics to separate families creates a culture of isolationism, loneliness, and ultimately despair. That’s how evil flourishes.”

On the NRB Forum stage, “we intend to have a focused discussion on what courage in the face of social pressure looks like,” Stigall explained. “How boldness can win the day. Why it simply takes the courage of our convictions—peacefully and boldly proclaimed—to change the course of cultural decay.”
