DMV Spotlight shines a light on the Healthy Babies Project, a private, not-for -profit community based support service for DC youth. 

Guest Jazmine Brazier program coordinator, says the Health Babies Project supports young women in the city who are pregnant providing housing and classes and support so pregnant teens can have healthy babies. Brazier notes some of the young moms are homeless. The HBP offers transitional housing as well as job readiness and advocacy training. Brazier also explained the Adopt a Family program now underway to help provide gifts for struggling young moms and their babies.
