The former president remains as popular as ever in key battleground states, according to newly released poll numbers from the Morning Consult. In Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina and Ohio nearly 4 out of 5 Republican voters rated Trump favorably.
The survey also found that Trump held a significant advantage in favorability over Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. This could prove critical as Trump’s endorsement power remains intact within the Republican base.
Georgia:
- Trump: 86% favorability rating
- McConnell: 47% favorability rating
North Carolina:
- Trump: 87% favorability rating
- McConnell: 46% favorability rating
Ohio:
- Trump: 80% favorability rating
- McConnell: 36% favorability rating
Pennsylvania:
- Trump: 77% favorability rating
- McConnell: 36% favorability rating
Trumps favorability rating among Republican voters remains relatively unchanged since he left office last January.
