Trucker Convoy Parked Today Due to Weather Concerns

By WMAL.com

Brian Brase, organizer of the D.C. Trucker Convoy, joined O’Connor & Company this morning to discuss the status of the trucker convoy that descended upon the Beltway this past Sunday. In the interview he revealed that the trucker convoy will not be on the road today as inclement weather is expected in the area.

“With the weather coming in to the area we decided we are going to keep the convoy parked today … [we want] to keep it safe for the motorist,” said Brase when asked about today’s plan for the convoy. The organize reiterated the convoy is working with state and local law enforcement to ensure the safety of motorists and the convoy participants.

Brase was also off the road yesterday, as he and members of the convoy met with Senators Ted Cruz and Ron Johnson. In these meetings convoy participants outlined their goals as a request for congressional hearings into the origins of COVID and an investigation into state and federal COVID responses.

“We’re gonna keep looping the beltway until heard,” said convoy organizer Brian Brase following the meetings. “We’re not going anywhere. We’re not gonna leave. We’re gonna keep doing what we’re doing until we start getting more meetings like we just had today.”
