U.S. GAS PRICES CONTINUE TO RISE; NATIONAL AVERAGE UP TO $3.64

In the past two weeks gas prices across the country have continued to rise, spiking 10 cents over that time period. The average priced of gas nationwide currently sits at $3.64 a gallon.

  • Ukraine-Russia: the price hike comes in response to a rise in crude oil costs amid global supply issues resulting from the conflict, according the recently released Lundberg survey.
  • $1: the average cost gas has risen in the past year.
  • $4.86: the highest price of has recorded last week. This coming from pumps in California’s Bay area.
  • What to expect: the price of gas is projected to continue rising as international conflicts continue.
