On Wednesday, at the direction of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Russian troops began moving into Ukraine. Directly after their entrance into the country, Putin announced that Russia was launching a “special military operation”.
- As of this morning, at least 40 people have been killed since the occupation began. Russian missile strikes have been reported in multiple cities across Ukraine.
- An advisor to Ukraine’s Interior Minister published a statement on Facebook stating that Russia’s military had unleashed a series of military attachs on command facilities, military depots and air bases throughout Ukraine.
- Leaders from around the world were quick to condemn Putin’s access, assuring the world that there would be swift and aggressive action.
