Why Didn’t the FBI Record the Flynn Interview? (The Daily Signal)

There are so many angles to the FBI-Michael Flynn imbroglio, and most have been covered in great depth across a divergent set of viewpoints. But one aspect that has not been covered, and that opens up a wider lens into FBI policy, is the fact that the FBI refuses to audiotape, much less videotape, interviews of witnesses or suspects such as Flynn.

That policy is counterproductive and makes no sense in 2020. The FBI needs to take itself out of the J. Edgar Hoover era and align itself with modern law enforcement best practices. [Read More]

GRASSROOTS GROUP WANTS TO ABOLISH AT LARGE COUNCIL SEATS (My MC Media)

A push to abolish all at large seats on the council is being led by some of the same people who were on the county’s Charter Review Commission.

Concerned that so many of the nine council members live in and around the Bethesda area, a group calling itself Nine Districts for MoCo seeks to put a citizen’s charter amendment on the November 2020 ballot that they believe would enable all areas of the county to be represented equally.
