WASHINGTON– Singer John Oates, half of the Hall of Fame duo Hall & Oates is getting ready to kick off this year’s tour tonight in Hershey, Pennsylvania following emergency surgery.
Oates announced on social media that he had to undergo emergency Gallbladder surgery after experiencing pain last week under his right rib and had to be rushed to the hospital in the middle of the night.

The good news is that he’s been discharged and will be on stage tonight as scheduled.
Hall & Oates will perform on August 22nd at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD. Squeeze and KT Tunstall are the opening acts.
