VIDEO: Police Looking For Three Suspects In Brazen Bethesda Jewelry Store Heist

Montgomery County police are asking for the public’s help to identify three men who held up a Bethesda jewelry store on Friday evening.  The three men entered the Jewelry Exchange on Old Georgetown Road at 5:45 pm, displayed a handgun, and walked off with about a hundred pieces of jewelry valued at more than 60,000 dollars.   Here is more information from a Montgomery County Police press release:

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division are investigating the robbery of The Jewelry Exchange that occurred Friday in Bethesda.  Investigators are releasing surveillance video of the three suspects and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.

On Friday, December 13, at approximately 5:46 p.m., three male suspects entered The Jewelry Exchange located at 7747 Old Georgetown Road.  One suspect displayed a handgun and the males demanded jewelry.  While two of the suspects obtained the jewelry, the third suspect acted as a lookout at the front door of the business.  The suspects stole approximately 100 pieces of jewelry with a total worth of over $60,000.

Anyone with information about the suspects or this robbery is asked to contact the Montgomery County Police Department – Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5100.  To be eligible for a reward, tipsters may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477).  Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to the arrest and/or indictment of these suspects.  Tipsters will remain anonymous.
