Montgomery County Officer Died of Self-Inflicted Gunshot: Police (NBC Washington)
A Montgomery County police officer found shot in a parking garage Monday morning died of a self-inflicted injury, according to the medical examiner.
Officer Thomas J. Bomba was a 13-year veteran of the police department. He was 38 and was married with two children.
Before he was found shot in the garage at Fenton Street and Ellsworth Drive in Silver Spring, Bomba called for backup. [Read More]
