WASHINGTON (WMAL) – Raphael Schklowsky, who previously worked as a drama teacher at Herndon High School in Fairfax County, has been charged with 20 felony charges of possession of child pornography and one felony charge of unlawful filming.
In a release put out by the Fairfax County Police Department, police revealed that the 36-year-old had been previously charged with four misdemeanor counts of unlawful filming after an investigation found over 3,500 videos of additional evidence on multiple electronic devices.
The investigation occurred after a woman reported to the Fair Oaks District Police Station that she had found a hidden camera in an air conditioning vent at a home where she was working.
According to police, Schklowsky attended his hearing at the Fairfax County Courthouse on Wednesday for his previous four charges of unlawful filming. He was out on bond for those charges, but after his hearing, he was charged with an additional 21 offenses. Police said he was remanded to the custody of the Sheriff’s Office and held on no bond.
According to police, Schklowsky has been on leave from Herndon High School since his arrest on April 8.
