Massive fire breaks out in Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris (FOX News)
The famed Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France was engulfed in flames on Monday leading to the collapse of the structure’s main spire. The intense flames leaped out from two of its bell towers minutes before the spire collapsed, and later spread to one of the cathedral’s iconic rectangular towers.

Cardinal Dolan prays for aid as Notre Dame cathedral fire rages (NYPost)
Cardinal Timothy Dolan rushed to St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Manhattan on Monday to pray for the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris as flames engulfed the historic structure.
“I just went next door to our own beloved Cathedral, Saint Patrick’s, to ask the intercession of Notre Dame, our Lady, for the Cathedral at the heart of Paris, and of civilization, now in flames!” a distraught Dolan tweeted.

Several 2020 Democratic hopefuls and other prominent Democrats criticized President Trump after he tweeted a video Friday showing part of Rep. Ilhan Omar’s recent comments about the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and television footage of the attacks. Virginia’s Northam cancels fundraiser appearance as protesters gathered (Fredricksburg.com)
Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam, who has faced calls to resign since he admitted to wearing blackface during a dance contest in the 1980s, dropped out of a planned appearance Sunday at a Democratic state lawmaker’s fundraiser during which he would have faced protesters. He cited safety concerns as the reason for the cancellation.
Northam, a Democrat, was scheduled to appear at an event for state Sen. David Marsden, D-Fairfax, who is up for reelection this year, at a community center in Burke, Virginia, a quiet suburban enclave. [Read More]
