FEC Still Refuses To Investigate Alleged $84 Million Clinton Campaign Money Laundering (The Federalist)
Tuesday evening the Committee to Defend the President (CDP) filed a motion in a D.C. federal court seeking to supplement the complaint it had filed against the Federal Election Committee (FEC) in April 2018. In its original complaint, the CDP alleged that the agency responsible for enforcing campaign-finance law failed to act on an administrative complaint the CDP had filed with the FEC. That complaint charged that, during the 2016 presidential election, Democrats illegally funneled approximately $84 million through the Hillary Victory Fund to the Democratic National Committee (DNC), which then illegally coordinated with the Hillary Clinton campaign. Pence Echoes Trump on Rep Omar’s ‘Anti-Semitic Tropes’ — Calls for Her to ‘Face Consequences’ (IJR)
The criticism keeps coming for Representative Ilhan Omar over the anti-Semitic comments she made.
Vice President Mike Pence is the latest critic of the Democratic lawmaker, taking to Twitter to call for discipline because of the comments.
“[Ilhan Omar] tweets were a disgrace & her apology was inadequate,” tweeted Pence. “Anti-Semitism has no place in the United States Congress, much less the Foreign Affairs Committee. Those who engage in anti-Semitic tropes should not just be denounced, they should face consequences for their words.” [Read More]

Abrams fired back, calling the line of questioning “ridiculous” and refusing to respond to the personal “attack.” [Read More]
President Trump says he would feel ‘a little phony’ having a dog (ABC News)

At a campaign rally in El Paso, Texas, on Monday night, the president pretty much ruled out joining the tradition of having a first family pet, saying he would feel “a little phony” having a dog. [Read More]
Conservatives try to slow push to pass border wall deal (The Washington Times)
House conservatives on Wednesday demanded Congress slow the rush to approve the homeland security spending bill, and suggested passing a short-term bill to keep the government open while giving all sides more time to digest what’s in the deal.
The House Freedom Caucus said it was unfair to make lawmakers have to digest a bill likely to run thousands of pages before a vote that could come Thursday. The text of the bill hasn’t been released yet, with negotiators saying they’re still writing final details.
That’s left all sides reacting to rumors and representations of what’s in the bill — creating confusion about key elements, including whether there will be enough detention beds to hold illegal immigrant criminals in detention. [Read More]
