Manafort “provided complete and truthful information to the best of his ability” over the course of 12 meetings with federal prosecutors and FBI agents, according to a court filing by Manafort’s legal team.
- FAILED REDACTIONS SHOW MANAFORT SENT POLLING DATA TO RUSSIANS & LIED ABOUT IT: Former Donald Trump campaign chair Paul Manafort sent campaign polling data to an alleged Russian spy in the midst of the 2016 campaign, according to a filing by his lawyers that the government failed to properly redact.
- VESELNITSKAYA CHARGED IN UNRELATED CASE: Federal prosecutors in New York have filed a criminal indictment against Natalia Veselnitskaya, the Russian lawyer who attended the infamous Trump Tower meeting with Donald Trump Jr. and other Russians, in an unrelated case. The charges allege she obstructed justice in an unrelated civil case relating to money laundering and forfeiture of assets.
- SCOTUS RULES AGAINST FOREIGN FIRM IN MUELLER CASE: The Supreme Court has rejected an emergency appeal from an unknown foreign corporation over a pending federal subpoena believed linked to Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation. The justices issued an unsigned order Tuesday, refusing to dismiss a contempt citation issued by a federal judge for failure to comply.

(Daily Mail) – Protests have erupted outside the home of a wealthy Democratic donor in California, after a second man died there in 18 months. More than 100 people gathered at the house of Edward Buck in West Hollywood on Monday night to demand the activist be arrested. Buck – a regular donor to Democratic campaigns including Hillary Clinton’s presidential bid – was investigated for a suspected murder when Gemmel Moore, 26, was found dead of a meth overdose in July 2017. The retired donor was again interviewed by police yesterday after another black man, in his 50s, died in his presence although the cause is not yet known. Jasmyne Cannick, a public affairs strategist who has worked with Gemmel Moore’s family, said the DA and Sheriff’s Department ‘have blood on their hands’ for failing to properly investigate the donor.
6am – F Kellyanne Conway embarrasses CNN’s Jim Acosta during heated exchange: ‘You’re such a smarta–‘ / Kellyanne Conway embarrassed CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta during a press gaggle on Tuesday, referring to him as a “smarta–” unliked by other reporters. Acosta asked Conway if she could promise that President Trump would tell the truth when addressing the nation on Tuesday night. “Yes, Jim,” Conway shot back, “Can you promise that you will? The whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help you God? Am I allowed to mention ‘God’ to you?” Acosta – who has emerged as a household name for interruptions when Trump and members of his administration are made available to the press – responded by telling Conway that he doesn’t have an “alternative facts” problem like she does. “Make sure that goes viral. This is why I’m one of the only people around here who gives you the time of day,” Conway said. “You’re such a smarta– most of the time and I know you want this to go viral.”

(Fox News) –Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein is expected to leave his role in the coming weeks, sources familiar with the matter told Fox News. Rosenstein wants to ensure a smooth transition for incoming Attorney General nominee Bill Barr and plans to transition out of the job in the coming weeks, the sources said. Rosenstein long thought of his role as a two-year position and the two-year mark is coming soon, officials close to the departing attorney general told Fox News. ABC News was the first to report on Rosenstein’s departure. Speculation of Rosenstein’s departure mounted after the firing of former Attorney General Jeff Sessions in November. He has, until recently, overseen Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into whether Russia meddled in the 2016 presidential election and has been a target of Trump on Twitter.
