Montgomery County Official Seeks Outside Dining Smoking Ban (NBC Washington)
A Montgomery County official wants to ban smoking in outside dining areas.
Councilman Sidney Katz is set to introduce the measure on Tuesday. It would prohibit smoking in outdoor serving areas such as patios, decks or porches.
If approved, Montgomery County would be the first county in Maryland to enact such a law. [Read More]
CNN’s Alisyn Camerota said on Tuesday that the ice-throwing incident that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh was involved in during his college years was a relevant piece of information in determining whether he was guilty of sexual assault.
The segment on CNN’s “New Day” came in response to a Monday report from The New York Times which documented a 1985 incident in which Kavanaugh allegedly threw ice in someone’s face at a bar during a verbal altercation. Kavanaugh denied throwing the ice, according to a New Haven, Connecticut, police department report taken at the time. [Read More]
