WASHINGTON (WMAL) — Tyler Tessier, who was accused of killing his pregnant girlfriend last year, has been found dead in his Rockville, Maryland jail cell.
Montgomery County Department of Correction and Rehabilitation reported that Tessier was found dead of apparent suicide at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility at about 5 a.m. Thursday.

The suspect was charged with first-degree murder after killing 31-year-old Laura Wallen, who was 13 weeks pregnant at her time of death.
Opening statements for his trail were scheduled to begin Thursday morning.
