Amber Alert, Critically Missing Adult Alert Issued For 12-Year-Old Virginia Girl And Grandmother

WASHINGTON (WMAL) – An Amber Alert, as well as a Critically Missing Adult Alert, have been issued for a 12-year-old Virginia girl and her grandmother, according to Virginia State Police.

Angie Caroline Rodriguez Rubio and her 48-year-old grandmother Elizabeth Rodriguez Rubio, both from Harrisonburg, were last seen at around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 5 in the 2800 block of South Main Street in Harrisonburg.

They were with Hareton Jaime Rodriguez-Sariol, who is said to have abducted them. All three were believed to be traveling in Sariol’s white 2000 Volvo tractor trailer, which was involved in a vehicle fire on I-66 in Warren County, Virginia State Police stated.

Angie is described to be a 5 feet 1 inch tall Hispanic female with black, curly, long hair and brown eyes, weighing 112 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black blouse with flowers, black legging-style pants and white sandals.

Her grandmother is described as a 5 feet 6 inches tall Hispanic female with black hair and brown eyes, weighing around 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing a burgundy blouse and a black skirt.

Rodriguez-Sariol is described as a 5 feet 6 inches tall Hispanic male, weighing 180 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes. Virginia State Police say he has a known history of infatuation with Elizabeth Rodriguez Rubio.

He was last seen at the 2 mile marker on I-66 where the vehicle fire occurred.

His vehicle is owned by AMG Express L.L.C, with Virginia license plate number 21739PZ.
