TYSONS, Va. (WMAL) – A Virginia woman is charged in a double shooting that left one child dead and another injured.

Fairfax County police say 33-year-old Victoria Youngblood is charged with second-degree murder in the Sunday night shooting, and more charges are expected.

Police say the shooting took place in an apartment in the 1500 block of Lincoln Circle, near Tysons Galleria. One child was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was hospitalized. That child’s condition is unknown.

The identities and ages of the children have not been released. Police are investigating the motive and the relationship between Youngblood and the victims.

She’s being held without bond. It’s unclear whether she has a lawyer.
