JinJing Ma’s parents contacted Demidchik Law Firm in New York City early Friday morning to tell them they found out there was an Amber Alert issued for their daughter according to attorney Michael Vista. He told WMAL he contacted local authorities to tell them that Ma was safe and with her biological parents.
“And that this was not a case of abduction. It was a really just literally a case of the parents reuniting with their child,” Vista said.

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority police say 12-year old JinJing Ma has been found in Queens, NY and is now in the custody of her parents. Police Chief David Huchler says “We are grateful that Jinjing is safe and with family. Our goal was to locate her to ensure she was safe and unharmed and we accomplished that goal. I’m proud of our Airports Authority detectives’ excellent work in this case and grateful that we are part of such a capable law enforcement community”.
The investigation is now being handled by the FBI.

11am 8/3– An Amber Alert remains in effect Friday for a 12-year-old Chinese girl seen getting into a car with a couple Thursday at Reagan National Airport.
Authorities are still trying to identify the couple seen driving away from the airport with JinJing Ma Thursday morning in a white Infiniti with New York plates.
Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Chief David Huchler said the girl was approached by a couple while sightseeing with a tour group at the World Trade Center in New York.
“It does appear that they are connected to the incident here at DCA,” Huchler said.
Even though video showed Ma looked like she got into the car willingly, Huchler said she’s still a critical missing junvenile, and they will track down every lead until they find her.

The Virginia State Police and the Virginia Missing Children Clearinghouse has issued an AMBER Alert on behalf of the Metro Washington Airport Authority, for a child abduction that occurred on August 2, 2018, Reagan Washington National Airport
The child is believed to be in extreme danger and was last seen leaving the airport on August 2, 2018
Abducted is JinJing Ma, Asian, Female, Black hair, Brown eyes, 12 years of age, 4 foot 11 inches tall, weighing 90 lbs.
The child is believed to have been abducted by an unknown Asian, Female, Black hair, approximately 40 years of age, wearing a black dress.

Child was last seen at RONALD REAGAN NATIONAL AIRPORT, ARLINGTON , Virginia. Child was last seen wearing a white tee shirt shirt, blue jeans pants, black jacket.

12 year old Individual was in America from China on a tour group. she received her passport just prior to checking in and left her group. she met up with an unknown middle age Asian female, who assisted her in changing clothes. they then walked together to the arrivals area of the airport and disappeared out of camera view.
